ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY, INCORPORATED ®
From the President
Greetings on behalf of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated®, Alpha Alpha Rho Omega Chapter. I am honored to serve as the president of this inspiring and history making chapter! Chartered on May 15, 2021, as the first four-letter chapter in Arkansas, the Alpha Alpha Rho Omega Chapter has a place for every member - embracing strengths, celebrating talents, and embodying the mission and values of our sorority. As we shift from movement to momentum, I am genuinely thankful to call this chapter my home and look forward to the upcoming years as we Soar to Fortify Sisterhood and Service in Saline County!
Led by our International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, the 2022-2026 administration theme “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” builds upon Alpha Kappa Alpha’s rich legacy of service by firing up our sisterhood to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy. Comprised of 355,000 initiated members, service and sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority since 1908. Our active members are engaged and committed to service through the implementation of our international program initiatives. More information about the Sorority's initiatives can be found at aka1908.com.
As you explore our website, I invite you to learn more about our chapter’s service projects, community activities, and ways to partnership with us as we expand our impact in Saline County. Also, be sure to connect with us on social media and as we journey to build greater efficiencies and intentional service within the community.
If you are a member of the Sorority and looking for a chapter, we invite you to visit us at a monthly
meeting or public event. We would love for you to be a part of our chapter’s journey!
