Prospective Members

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® seeks women who will promote, uphold, and extend its policies and programs. In return, the Sorority is a conduit through which individuals can grow and develop personally and professionally while simultaneously providing "Service to All Mankind."

Graduate Membership Requirements

 

Candidates must complete at least a baccalaureate degree, with at least a C+ cumulative average, or a graduate or professional degree (i.e., a PhD, MD, JD, etc.) from an accredited four-year college or university.

Graduate Membership Process

 

Graduate membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is by invitation only and cannot be solicited. Graduate chapters host public events--such as forums, cultural presentations, and social activities--so that prospective candidates may become acquainted with chapter members and learn about service activities they offer to local communities. Do not actively solicit membership into the Sorority. Please visit the Corporate Office's website and utilize the chapter locator to locate graduate chapters and contacts in your local community.
